The Rediscovery Centre in Dublin: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

The Rediscovery Centre in Ireland is adding value to things we might once have thrown away. As an important player in the circular economy, at the Rediscovery Centre, you can find an incredible space to rediscover fashion, furniture or cycling.

Reuse and education workshops and new ways to look at things and convert unwanted materials in brand new objects are the basics principles in this amazing place.

Supported by the Irish government and the European Union, the Rediscovery Centre is close to Dublin City, totally focused on educating young and adults.

This is what you can find at the Rediscovery Centre:

- The Centre has four reuse social enterprises Rediscover Furniture, Rediscover Fashion, Rediscover Paint and Rediscover Cycling. Theses enterprises use waste and unwanted materials as a resource and raw material for new product design.

- The building has been developed as a prototype ‘3D textbook’ a relatively new concept in experiential learning and the first of its kind in Europe.

-  A Green Kitchen café with delicious, organic food.

Why we consider it so important?

It demonstrates best practice in waste reuse and preparation for reuse. It's the perfect place to learn more about the value that we could possibly add to objects that we could usually consider old.
